Assistance League Greeley’s Holiday Home Tour starts the Holiday Season with the event scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2013.
The Holiday Home Tour consists of six homes decorated for the holiday season and includes contemporary, unique and historical styles of homes. Some of the homeowners have collections on display for public viewing. The Holiday Home Tour is self-guided and the homes are open for viewing from 10:30 – 4:00 pm. The homes are located in Centennial Village, Houston Gardens Holiday Boutique, Promontory, Pine Ridge Estates, Highland Hills and Country Club Estates subdivisions.
Tickets for the Home Tour are available from Assistance League members or by stopping by the Assistance League Thrift Store at 1706 9th Street, Greeley or calling 970-353-2226. Tickets for the Home Tour are $15 each.
The Holiday Home Tour is a major fundraiser used to support five programs with funds remaining in Weld County. The five philanthropic programs are
- File of Life® – medical history profile in wallet size and refrigerator magnetized size
- Operation School Bell® – uniforms for elementary schools
- Single Parent Scholarships – citizens of Weld County recipients attend UNC or Aims Community College
- Assault Survivor Kits®
- Warm Up Weld County – distribution of blankets
