At the annual Elder Abuse Awareness Day Seminar held on June 15 at the East Boulder Senior Center, Erica Corson with Area Agency on Aging announced an appreciation award for Maria Guerrero with the Boulder County Adult Protection Services for her dedication in helping adults with abuse problems.
Tim Johnson, Boulder County Deputy District Attorney, presented an appreciation award to Boulder County Sheriff Detective Jason Shatek for his dedication in bring several elder abuse cases to justice. Thanks to these outstanding employees for helping to reduce elder abuse in Boulder County!
