At the Salute to Creative Aging, formerly the Salute to Seniors, on May 12, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Colorado Convention Center, Denver, businesses and services will be focused on The Tech Trek with apps, robots, smart appliances, and more. Computers, tablets, and phone apps drive our lives remotely reporting our heartbeats and blood pressure.
The headline entertainment is The Jerseys with hits from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. In concert, the crowd is sure to go wild with selections such as “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Rag Doll,” “Oh What a Night” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”.
Other acts include Nearly There! with hits of John Denver and the Beatles. Also in concert will be One World Singers and Colorado New Style Dance Troupe.
The Resource Fair features experts from housing, home care, health care, insurance, finance, and home services. These experts provide a myriad of services needed by older adults.
Admission is free. There is free parking in the Tundra Lot at the Pepsi Center, off Chopper and Speer Boulevard, with free shuttle service to the Convention Center. Lyft is offering a 20% discount, up to $5 for those who use the code Salute2018. Light rail stops in front of the Convention Center.
